Two correspondents have been sacked today because no one called in to do their correspondent update.

The correspondent update at 5:38 is when people report about their subject & that's a correspondent. They must call often about the stuff, if they don't update much, they will more likely get the sack.

The Two Correspondents are

• Chas ‘n’ Dave Correspondent - Sean Cooke
• Automatic Door Correspondent - Paul
• Joke Correspondent (Sacked even thought he's not a correspondent)

You've been warned!

Big thing will happen in six weeks

Iain said on last Sunday's show that something will happen in six weeks. People say that Iain will be leaving but they are unconfirmed by the man himself. In a few weeks Iain's Celebrity Soup will come to an end.

Carol Thatcher in for Nick Ferris

Next Week the Queen of the Jungle is standing in for Nick. Carol Thatcher has been on Nick's show before for a newspaper reviews & she used to do few shows for LBC. Carol will be on at 7-10am on LBC 97.3.

Three correspondents got the chop

Iain had sacked three correspondent & one has been demoted.

Australian Correspondent - Andre in The Westminster
Iain Lee Show Correspondent - Steven in The London
Untruthful Correspondent - Hez in The Isleworth

And The Stuff You Don't Know Uber Correspondent have been stripped of Uber title as a warning for Uber Correspondents.

New LBC photos out

The new LBC photos are on LBC website. All of the presenter pages have been updated & a page for the pictures have been made.

If you asking, Iain isn't Asian, it's just too dark in the picture & Agent Chris is the dummy with his hand on his head.

Jeff Wayne on Music Thursday

The master of LBC Jingles, Jeff Wayne is coming on Iain's Music Thursday 3-4pm & Jeff was also the guy that produced the Musical Version of War of The Worlds. He made jingles for LBC & there's was many versions including the famous 1974 LBC Jingle package.

Iain hopes that he will be allowed to play the jingles all the time on the show.

So he's on the Thursday 21st September 2006 at 3pm.

Ofcom: Triple M swear resolved

Ofcom has decided that the swear on 30 July's Triple M was resolved & no action will be taking by Ofcom.

On July 30th a caller on Triple M said C***, which was dumped on DAB but not on FM, after Triple M couldn't carry on & music had to played.

This what they said

The word “c***” is amongst those considered the most offensive in research into
swearing carried out by Ofcom.

However we appreciate the broadcaster’s prompt action alerting us to the incident and accept that it occurred as a result of a technical error.

In the light of this, and the fact that the broadcaster apologised of its own accord, we consider the matter resolved.

No other action was taken by LBC Management & returned to normal after that show.
